Terms & Conditions

Karting is a motorsport and is dangerous.

All drivers participate at their own risk.

Formula fast will not be held liable for any injury or accident sustained.

Spectators watch at their own risk. Any person entering the live pit lane does so at their own risk.

No person can drive a kart under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Formula fast has the right to prevent any person from driving who is suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

No person can kart if they have a medical condition that would stop them driving on the road or taking part in any physical exercise.

No pregnant women are allowed to kart.

All junior drivers must be over the age of 8 and be at least 4 ft 1 "(125 cm). Please bring proof of age - e.g passport or birth certificate.

All drivers in open adult sessions must be at least 15. Proof of age may be requested.

Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied on the premises by a responsible adult.

All drivers must sign a disclaimer before karting agreeing to the above. Any person who refuses to sign will not be allowed to kart. A responsible adult must sign a disclaimer on the behalf of junior drivers.

All drivers must listen to and understand a detailed safety briefing and directions by marshals given both off and on the track.

Formula fast has the right to remove from and ban anyone from the premises who is considered a threat to safety on or off the track. Anti-social, aggressive or violent behaviour will not be tolerated.

Scarves, jewellery and loose clothing cannot be worn on the track. Long hair must be securely tied back. Sensible footwear must be worn. Drivers with inappropriate foot wear will not be allowed to kart.

Formula Fast reserve the right to end sessions or to call in individual drivers early if safety is compromised.

All junior drivers are required to wear a neck brace which will be provided.

Some children find it difficult to coordinate the throttle and brake for the first time. If this takes excessively long during throttle and brake practice in the pitlane prior to going on track then this may result in the on-track time having to be cut short to ensure timings for subsequent bookings (although every effort will be made to avoid this and the time spent in a kart will be in excess of the session booked time).

Terms and Conditions for Booking:

For all bookings a deposit of £10 per head will be taken at time of booking. For larger parties (over 10 people) we may request a 50% deposit. Deposits are non-refundable.
